I can’t believe i’m 22 already ): i need to start dressing my age soon and i am so tempted to start acquiring new clothes for a wardrobe makeover. I can almost envision a wardrobe filled with all kinds of clean, crisp and minimalistic clothing from A.P.C, Le Mont St Michel, Sessun etc. If i can afford it, i’ll start having a wardrobe full of A.P.C clothes RIGHT NOW, hahahah.

Small Museum of Nature and Industry (2010) by Susan Collard
“The smallest book I’ve made to date, this is a little fatter than a perfect cube. Materials include birch aircraft plywood, basswood, slate, various metals, mirrors, linen thread, and a shell. With the title and materials in mind, I tried to make a book with the open-ended complexity of a miniature museum.”

100,000 LED Lights Illuminate a Japanese River
Tokyo Hotaru Festival 2012 took place recently, releasing 100,000 blue LED lights to float in the Sumida River. The bulbs rolled along the waves of the river bank, mimicking hotaru (the Japanese word for “fireflies”), for the festival that celebrates the Japanese tradition of watching fireflies float along a watercourse. The spectacular event lit up the waterway with a sparkling sapphire radiance against the night sky.
The solar-powered LED balls, known as prayer stars, were designed to illuminate when they came in contact with water and were provided by Panasonic, one of the event’s sponsors. At the close of the festival, the bulbs were gathered by giants nets and removed from the stream.

Having many people tell me that I need to put on weight makes me feel as if there’s something wrong with me. It is very disturbing and unnerving to have so many people tell you the same thing. At the same time, why must my body be subjected to such scrutiny?!
Distraction is an obstruction to the construction.
